and ends at 14 rue Royale.
The Street is 1,840 m long and between 14.60 m and 20 m wide.
Initially Rue Saint Honore started at rue des Déchargeurs
but the first houses of the street (Rue Saint Honore 1 to 32) were torn down
to make place for the creation of the Rue des Halles built under Hausmann in 1870.
Rue Saint Honoré is one of the oldest streets in Paris and exists scince the year 1300.
Parts of the street were originally called rue de la Chausseterie, rue du Chastiau Festu
and rue de la Croix du Trahoir.
It got it's present name December 10 1847.
